Three newspaper articles from the Provincetown Advocate in 1977 relating to problems and approvals for the new Coast Guard Station, in particular the desire by the Coast Guard to remove Freeman's Wharf and the objection to that proposal by the Massachusetts Historical Commision because the wharf is under consideration to be included in a registered district.
