Architectural Description: 596 Commercial St. is a 1-1/2-story, 3-bay condominium building; side-gable roof is sheathed in asphalt roof shingles; shed dormer on rear roof slope; skylights in front roof slope; exterior is clad in clapboard siding on the primary facade with wood shingles on the secondary facades; wood trim; the fenestration has been altered and includes paired casement windows on the side facades, right side facade contains a single-light casement with arched window pane above, some windows contain 1/1 DHS with storms; three large inset gable dormers with sliding glass doors creating 2nd-story decks for each condo unit; 1-story, small shed-roof addition for front entry for end unit on left end; central entry vestibule for middle unit with full glass door and sliding screen; 2nd story of rear facade overhangs the 1st story and is supported by Doric columns.
