Architectural Description: 20 Winthrop Street is a 1-1/2-story, 3-bay building with sidehall entry. Front-gable roof has large shed dormer on south slope and shed dormer on north slope that accommodates a 2nd-story entry. This is accessed by an exterior wood stair. Main entry has pane-and-panel door with storm. Surround is simple with a shallow hood supported by paired end brackets. Windows are replacement 1/1 DHS with storms. Set back side ell has 1/1 DHS. Wood shingles clad secondary facades of ell. Shed dormer on rear of ell creates full 2nd story here. A 2nd-story deck and entrance is accessed by exterior stair.
