Architectural Description: 9 West Vine Street is a 2-story dwelling with 7-bays on south, 8-bays on north; side-gable roof is sheathed in asphalt shingles; full-width shed dormers on both roof slopes; interior brick ridge chimney; fenestration on the south facade includes 6/6 wood DHS with wood surrounds with entablature lintels and operable shutters on the 1st floor and a 7-bay shed dormer with 2 sets of grouped 6/1 wood DHS with partial returns on the 2nd floor; the 1st floor of the north facade has 6/6 wood DHS with wood surrounds and entablature lintels, and the 2nd floor has a 6-bay shed dormer and 6/1 wood DHS; the entrance on the south facade is accessed by a pane-and-panel wood door with modern storm and a flat hood supported by brackets; the entrance on the north facade is accessed by a wood panel door with modern storm and a flat hood supported by brackets; a basement entry is on the north facade.
