Architectural Description: 20 Alden Street is a 2-story, 4-bay 3/4 cottage. front-gable roof has partial returns and large shed dormers on each slope creating a full second story. The main entry contains a 4-pane and panel door with storm; simple entablature and wood surround; brick stoop. A secondary entrance is located on the southern facade. Fenestration includes 2/2, 4/4 and 1/1 DHS. 1-story addition is located at the rear. Exterior steps lead to a 2nd-story entry at the rear, above the addition.

Historical Narrative: There appears to have been a recent window replacement campaign (c. 2003), with 1/1 DHS installed at that time.
