Architectural Description: 18 Pearl Street is a 1 1/2-story, 4-bay 3/4 cottage with rear ell. The front-gable roof has partial returns; brick chimney at roof ridge; skylights in each roof slope. Corner pilasters are present. Shed roof porch across front facade with wood deck, square posts, and jigsawn brackets. The main entry consists of a multi-pane and panel replacement door with storm. Windows are generally 6/6 wood DHS with louver shutters. Square bay on north facade contains a wood multi-pane window, modillioned cornice and paired pendanted brackets. The 2-story rear ell has a gable roof with partial returns; a gable dormer on the south roof slope accommodates a second-story entry, which is accessed by wood exterior stairs and deck. Corner pilasters present. Skylights in north roof slope. Replacement 6/6 DHS windows in the ell.
