Architectural Description: 23 Winthrop Street is a 2-story, 4-bay sidehall building. Main roof is front gable with partial cornice returns and frieze. Corbelled brick chimney at ridge. Main entry has pane and panel door with storm; brick stoop. Windows are 2/2 wood DHS with storms. 1-story side addition runs the depth of the main building. Shed roof, 2/2 DHS wood windows, separate pane and panel entry with storm and brick stoop on front facade. South facade of main block has 2 secondary entries - one at 1st level and one at 2nd story, accessed by exterior wood stairs.
