Architectural Description: 25 Watson's Court is a 1-1/2-story, 2-bay cottage. Side-gable roof with offset interior brick ridge chimney. Exterior is clad in clapboard siding on the front facade with wood shingles elsewhere. Main entry is accessed by a pane-and-panel door with storm door and sidelights. Multi-light fixed picture window on front facade with plank shutters. Upper gable end slightly overhangs 1st story on south facade. Fenestration includes wood 2/2 DHS with storms and paired single-light awning windows on south facade; wood 6/6 and 3/3 DHS on north facade. Gable-roof 1-story rear ell with 6/6 DHS and brick chimney.
Historical Narrative: As per Tom Boland (1994): The house at 25 Watson's Court is a late Federal structure first noted on the 1858 atlas. In 1880, it was owned by H. Sparks. By 1901-1907, the house had changed ownership and the resident is listed as Jesse Davis, a seaman.
