Two color postcard photos of Wood End Light, one from 1906, and a newspaper account of the keeper, Phillip Smith, who received the highest awards for the best kept lighthouse in the district for 5 years in a row. A second article about Marion H. Smith, his wife, who died in 1956 at age 94. Two more articles.....one about Wood End Light becoming automated and another about repairs that had to be done due to a lightning strike.
