Newspaper articles encouraging the people of Provincetown to collect and donate their antique items to the Historical Museum. Notice in the Yarmouth Register in 1890 that Benjamin Lancy has sold his business and retired. A 1938 notice in the newspaper stating that a plaque to commemorate the birth of Peregrine White, the first white child born in New England, has been placed on the front of the Provincetown Historical Museum. Also a postcard photo of an old kitchen that is set up downstairs in the museum.
