Selectmen's Press Release On Out Of State Couples

Description:	Press Release issued by the Provincetown Board of Selectmen on May 26, 2004 temporarily suspending their policy to permit same sex couples from out of state to file marriage intentions who did not intend to reside in Massachusetts after marriage. The Board of Selectmen agreed to abide by the State's interpretation of marriage laws while the case they filed against the Massachusetts Attorney General and the Massachusetts DEpartment of Public Health was pending.
