This is a pamphlet made from a recording in 1978 of Carrie Knowles Cook telling the story of her early life in Provincetown and loaned to the Provincetown History Project by George W. Ferguson, Centerville, MA. Carrie Knowles father owned seven whaling schooners, one of which was the ill-fated Carrie D. Knowles.
