A transcript of a letter from the Provincetown Board of Selectmen dated August 5, 1952 and published in the Provincetown Advocate regarding "a situation which bids fair to undermine our moral" notably, a "large homosexual element," and requests help "to stamp out this degrading and soul destroying influence."
