Kelly's Corner 038 - Barbara Rushmore
Jan Kelly writes a weekly column for Provincetown Magazine. This article is devoted to Barbara Rushmore who was a founder of the 'Regreening of Provincetown' committee and has been planting trees around town on public and private land for decades. Most of the trees are dedicated to people who have died and there are plaques to honor them. She has a group of volunteers who help plant and water. The DPW can be counted on when heavier equipment is needed. Most notably she planted the Provincetown Waterfront Memorial Park and Harry Kemp Park Place.
