Newspaper article about the Somerset which was buried for nearly 86 years, built in 1746, wrecked in 1778 and uncovered again in 1866 at which time John R. Smith of Provincetown obtained a 3" square block from her hull and gave a sliver of it to Althea Boxell. The sliver is attached to the scrapbook page. A coin, thought to have come from the ship, is missing. 1952 photo of Edwin Atkins Grozier's home on Commercial St.
