Architectural Description: 25-27A Bradford Street is a 2-story, 4-bay, Astylistic building; the gable roof is clad in asphalt shingles, a skylight is located in the roof slope; the exterior is clad in wood shingles and the foundation is concrete block; the fenestration includes modern sliding windows, Chicago-style, 1/1 DHS, 3/3 wood DHS, 6/6 wood DHS, and single-light awnings; a deck has been added to the 2nd story, accessed by a sliding glass door; a 1-story shed-roofed addition extends from the southeastern facade with deck on top
Historical Narrative: As per Josephine Del Deo (1977): "This cottage is said to have been one in which Eugene O'Neill stayed during the period in which Frank Shay's theater was active. It is not known when O'Neill stayed in this cottage or for how long."
