Architectural Description: 37 Alden Street is a 1-story, 4-bay dwelling with rear ell. The main block has a side gable roof with partial returns; rear cross gable (northeast); exterior brick end chimney. Building is clad in wood shingles, with a band of diamond-shape shingles and some shingles with sawtooth edge. Main entry includes a pane and panel wood historic door with wood storm; accessed at southwest corner by concrete step. Fenestration includes 2/1 wood DHS with storms and 6/6 wood DHS in gable end. A 1-story shed-roof section is located at the southeast; southern portion has concrete block foundation.
