Architectural Description: 12 Johnson Street is a 2-story, 3-bay central entry building with a 2-story side ell. The mansard roof has inset gable dormers; exterior concrete block chimney, north facade. Mansard roof encompasses 2nd story. Cornice with paired brackets. The main entry door consists of an oval pane and panel door with storm, shaded by a hipped hood with pendanted end brackets. Brick stoop. A secondary entry on the south facade has a flat hood; pendanted end brackets; storm door; brick stoop with iron railings. Fenestration includes canted bay windows at the 1st story with 8/8 and 6/6 false-divided DHS vinyl; 1/1 DHS in dormers; other windows 1/1 and 6/6 DHS and sliding windows. 2-story side ell, connected at southwest corner of building, has 3 large garage bays with arched, plank doors on 1st story and 12/12 and 6/6 DHS in 2nd story. Segmented dormers with octagonal windows in front (east) slope of hipped roof. Exterior stair to 2nd story entry on south side.
