Architectural Description: 97 Bradford Street is a 2 1/2-story, 7-bay, Italianate-style building; the cross gable roof is clad in asphalt shingles, with partial cornice returns, brackets and two brick chimneys are located at the roof ridge; the exterior is clad in clapboard siding and the foundation is brick; the fenestration includes 6/1 wood DHS with battered wood surrounds and 2/2 wood DHS with storms; the primary entrance contains a replacement door accessing an enclosed entry with a flat roof, small scroll-sawn brackets at the eave, and large solid brackets with diamond-pattern engraving flanking the door which is reached by brick steps with an iron railing; The side ell has 4 bays with a secondary entrance containing a wood pane and panel door with diamond paneling, 5-pane sidelights, 6-pane transom and entablature surround; An open 1st-floor deck and 2-story shed roof section exist on the rear facade.
