Architectural Description: 58 Commercial St is a 2-story, 3-bay sidehall dwelling with a front-gable roof and wood shingle cladding. The wood box cornice has partial returns; corner boards frame the facades. The recessed primary entry door is 2 vertical panels with 5-light sidelights; the wood door surround has an entablature and pilasters. Fenestration is primarily 6/6 wood DHS replacement windows with inoperable louvered shutters, though some operable shutters do exist on the building (side facades). There is a 4/4 DHS window in gable end. The eastern facade is 5 bays with a panel central entry door, 4-light transom, entablature and pilasters. The 1-story rear addition has a multi-light entry door with glass storm and small entablature. Exterior steps with turned balustrade lead to a roof deck. There is a secondary entrance with multi-light door and sidelights. A brick chimney is located at the end of this ell.
