Historic District Survey information for 32 Bradford St
Architectural Description: This is a 2-story, 3-bay former commercial building. The door is centrally located on the gable end, which faces Bradford Street. There are partial cornice returns at the gable end, and a simple cornice runs the length of the side facade of the building. Windows are single and paired 2/1 DHS with storms. Wood window surrounds are intact. The left side facade facing Pleasant Street contains single and paired 2/1 DHS with storms and wood surrounds. A secondary entrance is located at rear and contains a pane and panel door, deteriorated flat roof hood, end brackets and brick stoop. Basement windows on this facade have 3-lights. The right side facade contains two 1/1 DHS with storms and surrounds and a brick stoop to a secondary entry at rear with small shed hood. The rear facade has 2/2 DHS and 2/1 wood DHS, replacement paired casement windows and 6-light basement windows. A section of shingles has been removed showing clapboard underneath.
